Here are some pictures from a recent trip to North Carolina.
Found some good gold in the First Broad river at Vein Mountain gold camp.




These are some local prospectors I meet there.


This is my unit. Its a 3 inch high banker/dredge combo.


This is the 5 inch dredge I rented so I could see how it was different from my 3 inch. WOW!
It sucked up more material in half a day then mine could do in 3 days!.
This turned out to be my best day for gold.


And here is the results from that week

The big one is a trick that was played on me by my sister.
She put a piece of native copper that was painted gold in my sluce just after I turned it off and was about to clean up.
I was smiling pretty big until I picked it up!
